Day by Day Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVE GUWAHATI – SHILLONG
Welcome to the gateway of Northeast India- Guwahati (GAU). You will be given a WhatsApp number to communicate with the driver or Tour Operator. Upon your arrival at the airport, our tour representative will be there to greet you. You will then be transported to Shillong, with a stopover at Umiam Lake, also known as Badapani. This expansive lake, a popular attraction in Shillong, functions as a reservoir and is part of a dam constructed by the Assam Electricity Board
in the early 1960s for hydroelectric power generation. The lake offers opportunities for water sports such as kayaking, boating, water cycling, scooting, and more. Upon reaching Shillong, check in at your hotel. The evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

DAY 2: CHERRAPUNJEE
This morning, after breakfast, check-out and you will be driven to Cherrapunjee. Explore the Garden of Caves, one of the top tourist spots in Cherrapunjee. Here, you will encounter magnificent waterfalls, a heart-shaped rock, and various other mysteries within the garden. Next, we will take you to visit Nohkalikai Falls – the tallest plunge waterfall in India with a height of 340 meters. As mesmerizing as this waterfall may seem, it holds a dark and sorrowful tale behind it that has been recounted for ages. The itinerary also includes a visit to Arwah Cave that showcases their stalactites, stalagmites and real fossils. Proceed forward to Nohsngithiang Falls a picturesque waterfall located at Mawsmai village also known as Seven Sister Falls. The best time to visit this place is during the monsoon, when the streams are flooded with water and flow down rapidly forming a perennial rainbow, which gives the spectacular views for the tourists. One can get a magnificent view of the falls from the viewpoint at Mawsmai village as there is no possibility to get near the water. Later you can check-in at your hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

DAY 3: DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDGE
Following breakfast in the morning, embark on a drive towards Tyrna village to begin the trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge situated in the neighboring Nongriat Village. The trek to the village involves navigating approximately 3500 steps, culminating in crossing a river to reach the destination. Take pleasure in exploring the village and marveling at the intricate living root bridge. Subsequently, continue the trek to Rainbow Falls, where you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural pool (seasonal). Afterward, return back to Tyrna where our vehicle awaits to take you back to Cherrapunjee.

DAY 4: MAWLYNNONG & DAWKI
This morning, after checking out, proceed with a drive to Mawlynnong – the cleanest village in Asia. Stroll through the village, featuring well-maintained walkways and delightful flowerbeds. Take in the breathtaking view of the plains of Bangladesh from a treetop tower. Next, explore the Balancing Rock and Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village. Continue your journey to Dawki, situated at the Indo-Bangladesh border. Opt for a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River at your own expense.
Note: Umngot River may not be clear during the monsoon season. Boating is subject to availability.
Overnight stay in Pongtung.

DAY 5: JAINTIA HILLS WATERFALLS
Today, after breakfast, pack-up and commence your journey towards Jaintia Hills, a region categorized by majestic hills adorned with lush natural vegetation and valuable mineral deposits. This area is renowned for hosting one of India’s most beautiful waterfalls, Krangsuri Falls. In the summer, the falls reveal crystal-clear blue waters at their base, situated amidst dense forest surroundings. A short distance from Krangsuri Falls, you’ll find the two-tiered Phe-Phe Waterfall.
To reach this picturesque cascade, a steep trek of approximately 30-40 minutes is required. In the local Jaintia dialect, “Phe-Phe” translates to “Paradise. Enclosed in a cave-like curvature, this lofty waterfall gracefully descends into the azure waters below. Conclude your day by heading back to Shillong.

DAY 6: SHILLONG – GUWAHATI
After breakfast in the morning, drive back to Guwahati and proceed directly to Guwahati Airport for your flight to your onward destination.

We have a flexible term for all payments. At the time of booking, you need to pay 10% of the total package cost.
Then you can continue paying at your own pace. Just ensure you paid in full (100%) 15 days prior to the trip.
Cancellation :
We understand the need to cancel a trip that you had been looking forward to.
So you have 2 options here:
OPTION 1
(i) You can carry forward the package trip to a later date. But it has to be 20 days prior to the original package date.
(ii) No booking charges would be needed.
(iii) This facility would be open for 6 months. Thereafter, the booking charge will be non-refundable after 6 months.
OPTION 2
You can carry forward the package trip to a later date for 6 months. If you have already paid more than 10% (1st 10% will not be refunded if cancellation happens), you would be refunded 50% of whatever you paid. But if cancellation occurs between 0 and 14 days prior to the package date, then there will be no refund.
