This trip takes you around to experience the authentic Rwanda and her beauty from the Wildlife safaris of Akagera National Park, the boat cruise, the city tours in Kigali with the genocide memorial visit, Ellen Campus and cultural tours in Musanze and Lake Kivu full relaxation, night fishing experience and boat cruise. It is a private tour you will be using a private safari jeep
Day 1 : Arrival at the Kigali International Airport.
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, our Dedicated team of Hermosa Life Tours and Travel will be at the Kigali International airport for the meet and greet assistance, clear with customs. Transfer to the Kigali hotel. Enjoy hotel amenities, have dinner and rest.
Overnight stay at Onomo Hotel Kigali (Meal plan: Bed and Breakfast).
Day 2 : Transfer to Akagera National Park – sunset boat cruise.
After your breakfast, you will start off your journey to the Eastern part of Rwanda. Akagera National Park is Home to the Big 5- Game safaris. On the way enjoy Landscapes and the hills of Rwanda, en route game drives and views as you drive to the lodge, expect to see some animals such as elephants, Giraffes, lions, buffaloes etc check in, order your lunch at the lodge, relax a bit. Afternoon embarks on the sunset boat cruise where you are rewarded with several hippos and bird species on Lake Ihema. Retire and drive back to the lodge refresh and relax using hotel amenities. Later dinner and rest.

Day 3 : Full day Akagera National Park experiences Wildlife – Back to Kigali.
Akagera is also known as one of the most scenic savannahs in East Africa. After your breakfast, have your packed lunch boxes (order them). You will visit the Giraffe area in the south and the lakes road up towards Birengero. Akagera National Park is home to elephant, Lions, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and antelope and many more. Have a stopover for packed lunch at the picnic area. Last short game drives. Then continue with a drive straight back to Kigali city. Arrival at the hotel, relax with dinner and rest.

Day 4 : Pick up from Kigali – Transfer to Musanze – Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.
you will be picked from your hotel after breakfast, take part in a short city tour and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, thereafter drive to Musanze the home of Mountain Gorillas, golden monkeys and hikes. on your way going you will be having time to discover, view Rwandan Landscapes and also visit the Ellen Degeneres Campus. A multi acre eco-friendly facility adjacent to the Volcanoes national park designed to serve as gateway to the conservation efforts towards protecting Mountain gorillas, the place is full of her stories and research work, you will enjoy very interesting Gorilla conservation stories in this campus. drive to the lodge, check in, have your lunch then relax enjoying lodge amenities till dinner.

Day 5 : Cultural Experiences + Transfer to Lake Kivu with a Night fishing Experience.
After your breakfast, you will proceed to check out then go for Cultural Experiences at the Gorilla Guardians former I’byiwacu Cultural Village. This place is fun with lots of Rwandan history and ancient stories. Feel free to take part in their traditional dance. Proceed with a transfer to Lake Kivu (Rubavu side) Arrival at the hotel with full relaxation at the beach shores whole afternoon. and later you will head out for the Night fishing experiences. Join the singing traditional fishermen of Lake Kivu at night on the lake as they fish for sambaza, the famous small fish of Lake Kivu. This tour is as real as it gets with amazing scenery. Later have dinner and rest.

Day 6 : Lake Kivu boat cruise and Transfer back to Kigali + Departure.
Wake up to your breakfast, enjoy it with the Lake Views. Then embark on the morning boat cruise on Lake Kivu to discover its different beautiful islands while on the lake. Have the fantastic view of the country. During the boat cruise, you will see a variety of bird species including pelicans, crowned cranes and malachite kingfishers. Depending on how busy the day is, this boat cruise lasts an average of 2 hours. then you will be transferred back to Kigali, last minute souvenir shopping in Kigali city craft shops, depending on your flight details, drive to Kigali international Airport for your outbound flight back home.
